Mysuru: The current political situation in
Karnataka, which has led to speculation about a change in leadership, is a result of Congress playing the Vokkaliga card during the recent parliamentary elections, claimed Krishnaraja BJP MLA TS Srivatsa. Speaking to reporters, Srivatsa pointed out that even though Congress fielded a Vokkaliga candidate and attempted to use the community card, the strategy backfired, leading to a setback for the party.
The MLA also said that despite the present political developments, the Congress party may not replace the chief minister, and the government is unlikely to collapse at this juncture.
