Sanjay Raut asks state govt to waive crop loans of farmers
NASHIK: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Monday asked state govt to waive crop loans of the farmers instead of allocating funds to MLAs part of the Mahayuti. His remarks came in anticipation that state govt will potentially approve funds for Mahayuti MLAs during the upcoming state assembly session.
Raut was speaking to reporters during his two-day visit to Nashik to campaign for Sandeep Gulve who is Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidate and Sena (UBT) nominee for the Nashik division teachers’ constituency MLC polls.

“Onion and milk farmers in the state are in distress due to the lower selling price of the produce. Farmers are also committing suicides in the state. Hence, state govt should once again waive the crop loans in a blanket manner just like it was done in Telangana,” Raut said.
