Jipmer shifts its emergency services to new block

PUDUCHERRY: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) has shifted its emergency services from the emergency services block to the super speciality block annexe.
A release from the institute said the shifting was necessitated as the institute has commenced installing a fire safety system in the present emergency services block as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the safety standards.
The installation work would take four months. The institute would provide uninterrupted emergency services at the super speciality block annexe starting June 6, said the release.
