16th Vasantotsav from January 20

Pune's 16th Vasantotsav will be presented by Punit Balan Group, Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande Prathishthan, and Mit World Peace University's School of Liberal Arts. The festival will be held between January 20 and January 22, with performances by wellknown classical vocalist Kaushiki Chakraborty, contemporary Indian folk music band The Raghu Dixit Project, solo gazhal recitals by singers Prathibha Singh Baghel and Prithvi Gandharva, noted playback singer Madhushri Bhattacharya, and in conclusion, Natya Sangeet by Dr. Deshpande.
16th Vasantotsav from January 20
Pune: The 16th Vasantotsav presented by Punit Balan Group, Dr Vasantrao Deshpande Prathishthan and MIT World Peace University’s School of Liberal Arts will be held between January 20 and January 22, Vasantrao Deshpande’s grandson and national-award winning vocalist, Rahul Deshpande, said at a press conference on Tuesday.
The festival will be held at Suryakant Kakade Farms, opposite Pethkar Samrajya, Mhatoba Dara in Kothrud from 5pm to 10pm.

“We are presenting different types of music including classical music, music by percussion instruments, light music, gazhals and live band during the festival,” he said.
Performance of well-known classical vocalist Kaushiki Chakraborty, contemporary Indian folk music band – The Raghu Dixit Project, solo gazhal recitals by singers Prathibha Singh Baghel and Prithvi Gandharva., noted play-back singer Madhushri Bhattacharya and in conclusion ‘Natya Sangeet’ by Deshpande will be held during the festival.
