Pune: The court of additional chief judicial magistrate J S Bhatia on Monday extended till July 3 the policy remand of 10 men arrested in connection with the illegal party held at the Liquid Leisure Lounge (L3) bar on Fergusson College Road on June 23.

The Nigerian national and two others arrested on June 28 on the charge of possessing mephedrone and cocaine are in police custody till July 2. The number of people arrested in the case has reached 15.
Earlier, senior inspector Chandrashekar Sawant from Shivajinagar police produced the 10 men before the court following the end of their remand. He also produced the two newly arrested men seeking their custody. Assistant public prosecutor Shridhar Jawale told the court that the questioning of the 12 men was essential to trace the source of drugs and to confront them with the Nigerian national and two others.
