PUNE: A 13-year-old girl was repeatedly raped by her father, uncle, and cousin brother in Pune. The crime was brought to light when the teenager shared her traumatic experience during a school session on "good touch and bad touch," according to a police official on Sunday.
The police reported that the survivor's cousin brother, who is in his 20s, allegedly raped her in July 2023 and threatened her with dire consequences if she told anyone about the assault.

"When the girl resisted her uncle's advances and tried to scream, he allegedly gagged and beat her," said a police officer. The uncle, who is in his 40s, allegedly sexually abused the girl in January 2024.
The official further added that the girl's father, also in his 40s, repeatedly sexually abused her as well.
"The girl opened up during a counselling session in her school on 'good touch and bad touch'. The police were then informed," said the official.
The three accused have been arrested and charged with rape under the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
