Lightning kills man in Khambhaliya
Rajkot: A 50-year-old labourer Balu Avad died after being struck by lightning on Thursday in Khambhaliya taluka of Devbhoomi Dwarka district.
According to police reports, Avad was working on the farm when lightning struck him. His body was sent to Khambhaliya Hospital for postmortem.
In response to the heavy rain forecast in the region due to monsoon, strict police arrangements have been made at Gomti Ghat in Dwarka town, and people have been prohibited from bathing there.
