Rajkot: The special operations group (SOG) of Rajkot police arrested three persons with 39.5 kg of ganja (marijuana) worth Rs 3.95 lakh from a house in Somnath Society that falls under the jurisdiction of Aji Dam police station.
Those arrested include Vajanath Goswami (24), Babulal Bisnoi (44), and Ashu Kushwaha (35). A case was registered against the accused under the NDPS Act at the Aji Dam police station by sub-inspector M J Ahir of the SOG.

According to police inspector J M Kaila, the SOG received a tip-off that three persons were in possession of a large quantity of drugs and were staying in a house in Somnath Society.
Acting on the information, a raid was conducted and three individuals were detained.
A sizeable quantity of narcotic substances was found in the kitchen area of the house. Forensic experts confirmed that the substance was marijuana. All three accused were arrested based on the forensic report and were interrogated regarding the source of the contraband found in their possession, Kaila said.
