Ranchi student claims MPhil, PhD paper leak
RANCHI: An examinee's complaint has prompted Jharkhand's Ranchi University to set up a three-member team to probe allegations of a paper leak linked to PhD and MPhil entrance exams at state-run Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry & Allied Sciences a week ago.
Vice-chancellor Ajit Kumar Sinha said on Sunday that complainant didn't have evidence to substantiate her suspicion of paper leak, but authorities decided to institute inquiry nevertheless.
"In her written complaint, the student claimed that questions 'went viral' on an education portal before the exam, and these could be accessed only by members." TOI received WhatsApp text a day after leak allegations. When contacted, authorities denied receiving any complaint. - Sanjay Sahay
