KALYAN: Due to the lack of a shed on platform number 5 at Dombivli railway station and the inconvenience caused to passengers, the ruling Shiv Sena's Yuva Sena leaders visited the station on Tuesday. After understanding the problems faced by the passengers, they met with railway officials and requested a prompt resolution.
The Yuva Sena leaders have warned that if the railway does not address these issues as soon as possible, they will protest at the station, potentially causing inconvenience to the railway.

Recently, a video of commuters at Dombivli railway station facing inconvenience due to rain, in the absence of a shed, went viral on social media. Tagging the same video on X, many commuters appealed to the Central Railway to install a shed as soon as possible.
Taking cognizance of the issue, Yuva Sena Maharashtra Secretary Dipesh Mhatre, along with his supporters, visited Dombivli railway station on Tuesday. After inspecting the inconvenience faced by commuters, they met with the station master, asking him to resolve the issues faced by commuters. Otherwise, they warned, they would hold a massive protest at Dombivli railway station.
Mhatre told TOI, "During the inspection, we found there is no shed at platform number 5, insufficient space for passengers to stand in front of the women's coach on platform number 3, among other issues. We raised these with the station master, who has assured to resolve the issues at the earliest. Otherwise, we have warned that if grievances are not redressed by the railway administration at the earliest, we will stage a protest against the administration at Dombivli railway station, and the railway administration will have to bear the consequences."
