Speaking to the media, Narayana said that making a world-class capital city will not only help the region but the entire state. He said that the capital city project has been designed in such a way that it would act as a growth engine for the entire state.
“Amaravati will soon become one of the top five capital cities of the world. It will act as big economic growth engine for the entire state,” said Narayana.
He said that they would ready the action plan in such a way that the works would be complete as per timelines. He promised the farmers of the capital city to expedite all the works in the capital city without any delay.
“We will fix timelines for each and every project and ensure their completion as per the schedule,” said Narayana. He said that about 26,000 farmers parted with about 34,000 acres of their agriculture land within two months of issuing the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) notification in 2015.

He said that LPS was successful because of the farmers trust in the chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. He said that no govt had acquired such a huge extent of land without paying a single rupee to the landowners except the LPS initiated by Naidu.
