Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai have been featured in the QS World Ranking 2025 by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Best Cities Rankings. Delhi has risen to the 111th position, becoming the second most affordable city for students. Bengaluru climbed to the 130th spot, ranking as the seventh-cheapest city. London retains its top spot as the best student city globally, followed by Tokyo in second place.

All four Indian cities rank in the top thirty for affordability, showcasing their cost-effective living conditions for students.

Additionally, each city is listed among the top 100 globally for employer activity, highlighting their robust job markets for graduates.

In Asia, the highest-ranked cities are predominantly in China, followed by Taiwan with five cities, and both India and Indonesia with four cities each making significant marks on the list. These rankings reflect the growing appeal of Indian cities as prime destinations for students, offering both affordability and strong employment prospects.
