The recruitment aimed to fill positions for Rifleman (GD) in various forces. NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the results for the Constable General Duty (GD) recruitment examination anytime soon. Candidates who participated in the recruitment test can check their results on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in.
The recruitment exam aimed to fill positions for Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles, SSF, and Constable General Duty in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).

The commission plans to fill a total of 46,617 posts for Constable General Duty in CAPFs, SSF, and Rifleman (GD). The force-wise vacancies are listed below:

What after SSC GD result is declared?

Qualified candidates will advance to the Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), medical examination, and document verification. Official dates for these stages will be announced soon. Candidates should regularly check the official website for updates.
The SSC GD PET & PST is the second stage of the selection process, involving two stages: the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and the Physical Standard Test (PST).

SSC GD Result: Physical Standards Test (PST)

Height Requirement
Candidates are required to match the height parameters as stated by the commission-

Weight Requirement
The weight of candidates must be proportionate to their height and age as per medical standards. Chest Measurement (Male Candidates Only) requirements-

There are relaxations in height and chest measurements for reserved categories.

SSC GD Result: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates must complete the race within the specified time limits. The details are as follows:
For Candidates Other Than Those Belonging to the Ladakh Region-

Male Candidates	5 kms in 24 minutes
Female Candidates	1.6 kms in 8 ½ minutes

For Candidates of the Ladakh Region

Category	Running Time
Male Candidates	1.6 km in 7 minutes
Female Candidates	800 metres in 5 minutes

The SSC GD examination was conducted in a computer-based format from February 20 to March 7. Due to technical glitches, a re-examination was held on March 30. The provisional answer key was released on April 3, with an objection window open until April 10. The results will be based on the final answer keys.

Step 1: Visit the official website, ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the 'Result' tab on the homepage.
Step 3: Click on the 'SSC GD Result 2024' link.
Step 4: A PDF file with the selected candidates and their roll numbers will be displayed.
Step 5: Check your roll number, name, and qualifying status.
Step 6: Save and download the PDF file for future reference.
