Ramdurg Constituency Election Results: Assembly seat details, MLAs, candidates & more
Ramdurg assembly constituency is part of Karnataka’s Belagavi Lok Sabha seat. In the last 2018 assembly election, this constituency was won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Mahadevappa Shivalingappa Yadawad, who was the runner-up in the previous 2013 election, had won the seat by defeating sitting MLA Ashok Mahadevappa Pattan of the Congress, turning the table, albeit with a lesser margin of 2,875 votes.
He had secured total 68,349 votes while Congress candidate Pattan had received 65,474 votes, in a close fight.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, the Belagavi constituency was won by the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Angadi Suresh Channabasappa with a margin of 3,91,304 votes by defeating Dr Sadhunavar of the Congress.
The 2013 election was a repeat of 2008 results.
In the 2013 assembly election, Congress candidate Pattan had won this seat by securing a total of 42,310 votes. The Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Yadawad stood second with total 37,326 votes, losing by 4,984 votes.
In 2008 as well, the Ramdurg legislative assembly constituency was won by Congress candidate Pattan by securing a total of 49,246 votes. Then sitting MLA, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Yadawad, stood second with total 48,862 votes, losing by a narrow margin of just 384 votes, only to regain the seat after 10 years.

In 2004, the Ramdurg legislative assembly constituency was won by Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Yadawad by securing a total of 56,585 votes. Congress candidate Pattan stood second with total 31,044 votes, losing by a whopping 25,541 votes.
In 2018, the Ramdurg legislative assembly constituency had a total of 2,00,580 electors. He lost by 2875 votes.
