Julia Roberts has become the talk of the internet thanks to a viral video of her interacting with Taylor Swift's beau Travis Kelce, during her Eras Tour in Dublin, Ireland.
The 56-year-old actress, was spotted in the VIP tent at Aviva Stadium. In a viral clip doing the rounds, Roberts appears to be scratching the NFL star's chest and rubbing his shoulders as they laughed and chatted together.
Kelce is also seen rubbing Roberts' arm during the interaction, raising quite a few eyebrows.
While viewers cannot hear their conversation, an Instagram handle by the name Jackie G, helped lip-read the conversation. According to her post, Julia said, "Im so unusually happy for you guys and I don't mean to make you nervous, but it makes me so happy." Travis, on the other hand, is seen laughing and blushing at her remarks.

Netizens soon flooded the comments section with their reaction to the post, with some fans likening Roberts to a supportive mother figure, while others thought it was 'weird'. One said, "Omg she's like a mom ... telling her son how happy she is."
Another added, "A little scratch and Mom love from Julia Roberts - she is just as happy for Taylor as we are."

"Julia Roberts is one of FEW that can get away with this," a user remarked, while another noted, "Julia is old enough to be Trav’s mom. She loves Chiefs and Taylor. She is just telling him how much she loves them. It is cuteness!"

However, not everyone saw the interaction positively. Some viewers felt it was over the top. "The way he is kindly trying to pull away," one social media user commented. Another noted, "Travis trying to pull back politely."
Even comedian Nikki Glaser's parents weighed in. Glaser, who attended the Dublin concert with her parents, shared a video on Instagram showing their reaction to the viral moment. Julie Glaser described Roberts' behaviour as "gross" and "weird," while Edward Glaser noted that it seemed like Kelce was "trying to get away" from the actress.
Following backlash to their comments, Nikki’s parents issued an apology. In an Instagram video posted on Tuesday, Julie expressed regret for her choice of words, saying, "I should’ve said something different than the word 'gross'. It’s not a nice word. So, I’m issuing an apology right now for using the word — but I think it was really weird."
Despite their apologies, Nikki's parents maintained their stance that Roberts' actions were unusual. Julie concluded, “Julia Roberts, she’s a good actress. But a terrible flirt.”
