When Letitia Wright, Ryan Coogler, Tenoch Huerta and other 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' shared their fondest memory of late Chadwick Boseman
Director Ryan Coogler, who has been receiving praises for his superhero movie 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever', recently opened up about the late actor Chadwick Boseman, who played King T'Challa in the billion-dollar and Oscar-winning movie. Calling the late star an integral part of the film's team, he said, "Chad's passing affected filmmakers and the actors in a way that was incredibly profound.
Chad was very much our artistic partner in this project, in this franchise and in this storytelling."
At the launch of Boseman's charity foundation, Coogler added, "Chadwick understood the value of the moment he was in historically, but he was always on the go, constantly pushing. We met Chadwick while working on the first Black Panther, forged an incredible relationship, and learned about him and how he lived his life. So when we lost him, it only made sense to follow in his footsteps. He was a guy who led by example, so we are trying to follow that example."

Winston Duke, who plays M'Baku revealed the best way to pay tribute to his late co-star. He said, "I think the memories you have of a person, especially one like Chadwick, are filled with a lot of joy. I think that's the best way to remember him - in joy and with joy."
The actor, who was among the many stars who attended the launch of the actor's foundation, added, "What we're doing here tonight, we're remembering him and honouring him, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever does that from start to finish. there is nothing else that feels more right than that."
Letitia Wright, on the other hand, who played Chadwick's on-screen sister, opened up about the best lessons she learnt from the late star "There's no need to rush, you can take your time to listen, to consider, before speaking," she said.

"He was just so wise. He never took up space in a room to make anyone else feel small. He was just patient, considerate and took time to listen," she concluded.
Chadwick's presence on the sets was felt long after his passing. Narrating his experience on the film sets of the Black Panther sequel, Tenoch Huerta, who plays Namor in the series, said, "There were a bunch of stories about him, but the beautiful part of all this was the spark in the eyes of the people who were talking about him. That spark for me was like 'Oh my god, this man must've been a giant' so you go to that set and it was such a beautiful experience to be there. It was beautiful to be a part of this family."
'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever', which also stars Lupita Nyong'o, Angela Bassett, Dominique Thorne and Danai Gurira, is up for four Oscar nominations this year. Although the film didn't get another Best Picture nod, it is set to contend for the best original song, best costume design, make-up and hairstyling, and best visual effects. Those eager to watch the film ahead of the Oscars can catch it on Disney+ Hotstar.
