Abhishek Bachchan made his entry into Bollywood with the romantic drama Refugee in 2000. To mark this milestone, a fan on social media shared a video showcasing Abhishek's diverse filmography, from Refugee to Ghoomer and everything in between, praising his versatility and wishing for more memorable moments ahead.
Responding to the tweet, Amitabh Bachchan expressed his admiration, saying, "love you Bhaiyu..your versatility, and your dedication entirely to the character you play.. all so different and so completely unique.. blessings and more."

In other news, Amitabh Bachchan's recent film Kalki 2898 AD, released on June 27, has been a blockbuster success. In a spectacular debut, the sci-fi epic, starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, has surpassed the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide in its opening weekend. The film, which hit theatres on June 28, continues to dominate the Indian box office.

Over the first four days, 'Kalki 2898 AD' put up a strong performance, culminating in an impressive Rs 85 crore collection on Sunday alone, marking its second-highest single-day earnings since its release. According to Sacnilk.com, the film amassed Rs 95.3 crore nett on its opening day, Thursday. Despite a dip to Rs 57.6 crore nett on Friday, it rebounded on Saturday with Rs 64.5 crore nett. By the end of Sunday, the film's total domestic collection reached Rs 302.4 crore.

Internationally, the film has also made significant strides, with reports indicating an estimated Rs 369.5 crore from overseas markets. Notably, 'Kalki 2898 AD' garnered an impressive $5.4 million (Rs 45.01 crore) from North America alone. This achievement secured it the fifth spot at the North American box office, trailing behind 'Inside Out 2' at $57.4 million, 'A Quiet Place: Day One' at $53 million, 'Horizon: An American Saga—Chapter 1' at $11 million, and 'Bad Boys: Ride or Die' at $10.3 million.
