'Animal' star Triptii Dimri set to romance Kartik Aaryan in 'Aashiqui 3': Report

Triptii Dimri has been the talk of the town ever since 'Animal' released. The film saw her alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol among others. Despite the fact that Triptii was appreciated in 'Qala' and 'Bulbbul', she rose to fame like never before post 'Animal'. People have now started referring to her as the National Crush and here's some good news for her fans.
A while ago, 'Aashiqui 3' was announced with Kartik Aaryan in the lead.The project is helmed by Bhushan Kumar as a producer and will be directed by Anurag Basu. Interestingly, Bhushan is also the producer of 'Animal' and a latest report suggests that he's signed Triptii. The speculations regarding who will play the female lead in 'Aashiqui 3' has been on for a while, but looks like the search has now ended. According to Pinkvilla, the conversation has been on for a while, and Triptii has been locked in finally. The film is expected to go on floors in the first quarter of 2024. Both the actors are going to do some workshops and script reading before they start to shoot.
This is the first time Kartik will be seen collaborating with Triptii. It's been 10 years since 'Aashiqui 2' released and fans are waiting for the third part. A while ago, producer Mukesh Bhatt had said that they announced the film too soon as a lot is still left to be finalised, including the female lead. But looks like, the film is quite on track now and should go on floors soon.
Apart from 'Aashiqui 3', Kartik is reportedly also a part of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. At the moment, the actor is shooting for Kabir Khan's 'Chandu Champion'.
