Lillete Dubey opened up about working with Shah Rukh Khan in the theatres during his younger days and his initial days in the industry. The actress also recalled him saying, 'I don’t want to be an actor; I want to be a star, a rock star'.
In conversation with Cyrus Broacha, Lillete talked about working with SRK on a project akin to Sesame Street during that time. It also starred Raghubir Yadav.
According to Lillete, SRK was a delight when he was young. She added that he had a lot of charisma, talent and energy.

What surprised Dubey was the fact that even at that age, Shah Rukh was certain that he would become a star. She recalled the actor telling her, ‘I don’t want to be an actor; I want to be a star, a rock star'. According to her, SRK had that kind of determination that he was going to be what he wanted to be.

Shah Rukh and Lillete have collaborated on films such as 'Chalte Chalte' and 'Kal Ho Naa Ho'. She stated that Shah Rukh is usually really kind. When he meets her, he is kind, affectionate, warm, and loving.
SRK will next be seen in 'Jawan' which also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles. Apart from this, he also has Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki' in his pipeline.
