Former Indian cricket team captain and one of the most iconic names in the sport, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, turned 43 years old today, July 7. Social media has been flooded with birthday wishes for Thala. And his wife Sakshi Dhoni made sure that she makes her husband feel special with a happy celebration.
Sakshi shared a video from Dhoni's birthday celebration where the birthday boy was seen cutting the cake and sharing a piece with his wife.
What caught everyone's attention was Sakshi touching her husband's feet, a gesture that gave a glimpse of the couple's playful and loving chemistry.
In addition to celebrating his birthday, it was announced that the film 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story', one of the most loved and appreciated biopics in Hindi cinema, will be re-released in theaters in July 2024. The film, based on the journey of former Indian cricketer and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Kiara Advani, and Disha Patani. This re-release is for the special occasion of MS Dhoni’s 43rd birthday.
Just a day prior to the birthday celebration, MS Dhoni along with his wife Sakshi attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's starry sangeet ceremony at NMACC. Celebrities such as Salman Khan, Badshah, Ranveer Singh, Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan among others attended the event and even entertained the audience with their performances.
Indian cricketers including Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Surya Kumar Yadav were also present at the ceremony. Nita Ambani praised the Indian team's victory, describing how the nation held its breath as they clinched an improbable win. She highlighted Hardik Pandya's resilience, saying, "Tough times don't last, but tough people do!"

Mukesh Ambani also congratulated the cricketers, reminiscing about India's last World Cup win in 2011. Mumbai Indians teammates and other Indian cricketers like Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Krunal Pandya, K L Rahul, and the legendary Mahendra Singh Dhoni enjoyed the moment. Jasprit Bumrah couldn't attend as he was traveling.
