Supriya Pathak recalls Sridevi asking her to speak like Hansa on flight; says she was a great fan of 'Khichdi'

Supriya Pathak is currently gearing up for the release of 'Khichdi 2'. Her role as Hansa Parekh in the Khichdi franchise received a great response from the audience.
In a recent interview, Pathak shared a story about the time she met the legendary Sridevi on a flight. Supriya said that they met and Sridevi was very happy to meet her. When they boarded the flight, normally an actor will never come by himself/herself and ask you to enact a character.It's not done because you are an actor, and you don't expect it.
The actress added that she just went and sat and she came to her and said, ‘I am so sorry but can you please speak like Hansa.’ She said, ‘Oh my god.' She said, ‘Hello, how are, khana kha ke jana.’ She was so thrilled throughout the flight that she kept laughing. She was a great, great fan of Khichdi.
In an interview with PTI, Pathak said, "Now, Hansa is a part of me and she’ll be with me until I die. Hansa is not leaving me anytime soon; she’ll be with me forever. We all fell in love with our characters and that’s why it doesn’t feel like it is difficult. It is hard work but it is not difficult.”
'Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan' is written and directed by Aatish Kapadia. It stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Rajeev Mehta, Anang Desai, Vandana Pathak, and Jamnadas Majethia. It will be released on November 17.
