Sushmita Sen reveals she suffered a heart attack; Tabu, Gauahar Khan, Sophie Choudry wish actress a speedy recovery

Bollywood star and former beauty queen, Sushmita Sen on Thursday shocked fans and friends in the film industry when she revealed that she had suffered a heart attack a couple of days ago.

Bollywood star and former beauty queen, Sushmita Sen on Thursday shocked fans and friends in the film industry when she revealed that she had suffered a heart attack a couple of days ago.
In a social media post, the 'Aarya' actress opened up about her health scare and also informed fans that she underwent angioplasty and that the cardiologist inserted a stent in her heart during the surgery.

"I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back... Angioplasty done... Stent in place... and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed 'I do have a big heart'," Sen, 47, wrote.

She also thanked the people who gave her "timely aid and constructive action".
Following her announcement, fans and friends took to the comments section to express their shock and also to wish the star a speedy recovery. Fellow B-town actress Tabu wrote, "Lots of love super girl."
Gauahar Khan also sent the star her love in a message that read, "Ure precious ! Feel better soon ! Stronger than ever."

Sonal Chauhan sent Sush "love and strength" for a speedy recovery.

Poonam Dhillon, on the other hand quipped, "On lighter note-you have a warm Heart & a Hot personality !! Too much heat causing issues I Love & Hugs."
Gajraj Rao reacted to her post with a couple of heart emoticons.

Omung Kumar also sent his best wishes saying, "Stay strong and get well soon."
Prior to her heart attack, Sushmita was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Addison's disease in 2014. According to reports, she was busy shooting for the third season of her acclaimed series 'Aarya'.
