Vikrant Massey's 'The Sabarmati Report' postponed; avoids clash with Ajay Devgn's 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' on August 2

Riding a wave of success after the unexpected box office hit '12th Fail' (2023), Vikrant Massey is gearing up for his next, 'The Sabarmati Report'. The film was first slated for release in July but was later shifted to August.
However, it appears Vikrant's fans will have to wait a bit longer. According to sources, 'The Sabarmati Report' has been delayed once again.This introduction piques the audience's interest in both Vikrant Massey's growing popularity and the mysterious postponement of "The Sabarmati Report."
According to a source at Bollywood Hungama, “The makers are looking at a new release date. The film is now expected to release in September or October 2024. The makers will announce the new release date in a week or two. The exhibitors, too, would be informed about The Sabarmati Report’s postponement.”
In all probability, this is to avoid clash with Ajay Devgn's 'Auron Mein Kya Dum Tha', which was postponed from July 5 to August 2.
In addition to Vikrant Massey, The Sabarmati Report features Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra. The film is a political thriller that follows two reporters investigating the burning of the Sabarmati Express at Godhra on February 27, 2002. Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan, it is directed by Ranjan Chandel.
