NewJeans appointed as official ambassadors for Korean Tourism

NewJeans, the rising K-pop sensation, is set to take on a new role as honorary ambassadors for Korean tourism. According to their agency, ADOR, and the Korea Tourism Organization, the group has been chosen as the "2024 Honorary Ambassadors for Korean Tourism."
The official appointment will take place on July 11 at the "Korea Tourism Promotional Video Premiere and Honorary Ambassador Appointment Ceremony." This new role highlights NewJeans' growing influence and popularity, not just in Korea but globally.
In May, NewJeans showcased their cultural pride by performing in traditional hanbok at the "2024 Korea On Stage - New Generation" event held at the historic Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul. Their performance was a blend of modern K-pop energy and traditional Korean heritage, capturing the attention of fans worldwide.
This isn't the first time NewJeans has been involved in promotional activities. Since March, they have been serving as promotional ambassadors for Incheon Airport Customs, helping to enhance the image of Korean tourism and culture.
NewJeans' recent achievements extend beyond their ambassador roles. Their Japanese debut single, "Supernatural," has made impressive entries on major US Billboard charts. Additionally, their previous double single has remained on the charts for five consecutive weeks, solidifying their status as a global K-pop powerhouse.
