Actor Gopal Deshpande to play a quirky cop in Shashank's 'Love 360'

After employing Rachana Inder to play the female lead, director Shashank and Co. have now roped in the very skillful Gopal Krishna Deshpande to feature as one of the prominent characters in the film 'Love 360'. Gopal Deshpande is set to play a cop in the film whose North Karnataka dialect, as promised by Shashank himself, is sure to charm the audiences thoroughly and the actor is particularly kicked about bringing the character to life.
"The film is set in Gokarna and I play a quirky cop who is integral to the story. Interestingly, this would only be my second role with a North Karnataka dialect after 'Arishadvarga' and I am particularly excited about how director Shashank is conceiving it. There is something very interesting about his process, and just as with any good filmmaker, his style of rendering a character or a scene is quite unique, I must say," shares Gopal Deshpande who has previously worked with Shashank on 'Thayige Thakka Maga', starring Sumalatha Amabareesh, Ajai Rao, and Ashika Ranganath.
In the same vein, Gopal Deshpande seems to be in the thick of an exciting phase of his acting career with one exciting offer after another lined up in front of him. However, the actor refrains from terming this a "phase", stating that he doesn't wish to assess his career like that but would instead want to march on without worrying about such tags. "Honestly, I don't suppose I am a very popular actor yet to deem this current growth as a "phase" because I am not someone who looks at life or things like that. I am definitely enjoying all the various acting offers that are coming my way and I would be keen on focusing on working with different filmmakers and adapting to their individual processes - I think that's more fun any day. For me personally, each role is a new journey and I would want to keep it that way," comes a humble response from Gopal Krishna Deshpande, who is reluctant about the fame that is slowly starting to surround him.
On the other hand, Gopal Deshpande has recently begun work on Hemanth Rao's 'Sapta Sagaradacha Ello' and has an array of projects like Raj B Shetty's 'Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana', 'Hope', and others.
