My first priority is to helm Shivanna’s film: Hemanth M Rao

Over the weekend, news of Hemanth M Rao directing a film frontlining Sudeep went viral on the internet. The nugget was preceded by a photo of producer Sandesh Nagaraj shared an image with actor Sudeep and that the duo will be teaming up soon for a project.
When BT contacted Hemanth for further details, the director shared that nothing has been signed yet.“But it’s a huge opportunity to be associated with Sudeep sir. But I haven't signed anything yet with the producer as I am working on Shivanna’s film,” he says. Hemanth adds that he won't be able to do justice to either projects if he takes up two at the same time. “I've requested for time to finish this project and then explore the opportunity,” the director tells us. He elaborates that with each of his four films, he’s maintained a healthy practice of working on one film at a go.
“That’s the way I prefer to work because I like to direct my energy in one direction. Currently, all my focus is on the pre-production of Shivanna’s film,” he concludes.
