What is the connection between Darshan and Allu Arjun?

For years there have been rumours that Deeksha Seth was set to make her Sandalwood debut, but none of it materialized, until now, of course. The actress has been signed up to romance Challenging Star Darshan in his next, Jaggudada, directed by debutant Raghavendra Hegde.
"It is the perfect launch vehicle. For starters, I get to act with one of the Kannada industry's biggest stars, Darshan, and second, the script is very exciting.It's a great comedy, in which I play a city girl who runs her own business. While she is modern in her outlook, she is also quite the family person,"says Deeksha, who begins shooting for the film later this month.
The makers say that Deeksha was the best choice as she suits the character and matches Darshan's personality, given that she stands tall t 5'9".
