Tini Tom's comedic portrayal of Mammootty's iconic character 'Kodumon Potty' from the film 'Bramayugam' has sparked a social media storm.

The actor's skit, performed during an award function, quickly went viral, drawing both laughter and criticism from netizens.

The video of Tini Tom's impersonation has elicited mixed reactions online, with some applauding his comedic timing while others deride it as disrespectful to the original character.
Netizens flooded social media with comments, with one user questioning, "Which yugam is this?" Another comment sarcastically remarked, "A misfortune of Mammootty who had to see that."

Director Nishad joined the fray, subtly poking fun at Tini Tom through Instagram by combining images of Mammootty with Tini's performance.

Directed by Rahul Sadashivan, the film also starred Arjun Ashokan and Sidharth Bharathan in pivotal roles. Mammootty's portrayal of the villain character Kodumon Potti in the horror drama earned widespread acclaim upon its release in February 2024, both in theaters and on OTT platforms.
On the other hand, it was recently that Tini Tom revealed his friendship with Mammootty was strained due to trolls. Tini Tom pleaded to the media to stop thinking about the bad aspect in everything which will eventually make them feel negative throughout their lives.
