The highly anticipated sequel, following the blockbuster success of the original, has generated significant excitement. Additionally, a third installment, "Indian 3,' is planned to be released a few months after the second part.
Recently, Kamal Haasan expressed enthusiasm for 'Indian 3' over 'Indian 2,' sparking a debate among fans and leading to questions about his apparent disinterest in the upcoming release. However, Kamal Haasan has addressed these concerns in a recent interaction with the press and media in Chennai.
Kamal Haasan clarified that his high praise for 'Indian 3' does not imply that 'Indian 2' is an inferior film. He emphasized that both 'Indian 2' and 'Indian 3' are excellent films, but his excitement for the third installment is greater due to his deeper knowledge of the project. Despite this, he reiterated that "Indian 2" is also a film to be celebrated and that he remains highly enthusiastic about it. 'Indian 2' will see the return of Senapathy (Kamal Haasan) from London to India to fight against corruption, while 'Indian 3' will serve as a prequel set in the pre-Independence period.
