Sai Pallavi fans upset on sidelining her on Rowdy Baby's celebration CDP

The sensational song Rowdy Baby from Balaji Mohan’s Maari 2, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, clocked 1B views on YouTube recently. Fans of Yuvan, along with hardcore admirers of Sai Pallavi and Dhanush, celebrated the occasion by posting tweets, several stills and short videos from the song on their social media accounts. On Wednesday evening, the Twitter handle of Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films which produced the film came up with a CDP to celebrate the occasion with the hashtag #RowdyBabyHits1BillionViews.However, the picture was that of Dhanush and fans of Sai Pallavi were shocked with the team sidelining her.

Fans of the song were quick to react by expressing their displeasure over Sai Pallavi missing in the picture. Many said that though Dhanush is a good dancer, it was his collaboration with Sai Pallavi apart from Yuvan’s music which made the song an instant chartbuster. A few even came up with fan made CDP which featured Sai Pallavi alone as a mark of protest. Some others went on to mention that choreographers Prabhu Deva and Jaani, along with cinematographer Om Prakash and singer Dhee also deserved to be in the CDP as the feat achieved by the song is a first-of-its-kind in south Indian cinema.
