Former actress and wife of actor Ajith Kumar, Shalini, took to Instagram to share a photo of herself from the hospital along with her husband. India Today reports stated that the actress underwent minor surgery at a hospital in Chennai yesterday. Shalini shared the photo on Instagram. She was seen wearing a hospital gown and holding hands with the actor, and the caption read, "Love you forever."

Actor Ajith, who was shooting for his film 'Vidaa Muyarchi' in Azerbaijan, returned to Chennai two days ago so he could accompany his wife during the surgery.
He is soon expected to return to continue the shooting abroad after the yesteryear actress recovers. Seeing the photo of the couple, the fans and netizens took to social media and wished her a speedy recovery.
Media reports suggested that the official statement might be shared in a day or two's time. Actor Ajith left for Azerbaijan on June 20 to wrap the final parts of the movie and returned to Chennai on July 2. He will soon resume the shoot once again after the actress is discharged and recovers.
Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the film stars Ajith, Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and Arav in lead roles. The movie's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Following this, the actor also has his next project, 'Good Bad Ugly' with Adhik Ravichandran. The first schedule shooting wrapped up in Hyderabad last month, and the second schedule shooting is said to begin after 'Vidaa Muyarchi' wraps up in Russia.
