The mythological sci-fi film, featuring a star-studded cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, has been enjoying a successful run at the box office.
In just one week, the film has grossed an impressive Rs.
393.4 crore in India across all languages, according to Sacnilk. The film made Rs. 22.7 crore on the 7th day of its release.
With the film completing its first week of release, here's a look at its day wise earnings. The movie had a record-breaking opening day on Thursday, earning Rs. 95.3 crore. However, it saw a decline in collections on Friday, bringing in Rs. 59.3 crore. Business picked up again over the weekend, with Saturday’s earnings at Rs. 66.2 crore and Sunday’s at Rs. 88.2 crore. The film's earnings on Monday was Rs. 34.15 crore and continued to decrease slightly on Tuesday to Rs. 27.05 crore and Wednesday to Rs. 22.7 crore.

The film also had a notable 31.38% occupancy rate in Telugu-speaking regions on Wednesday, July 3, with additional showings in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil contributing to its overall success.
The global response has been equally strong, with 'Kalki 2898 AD' earning ₹700 crore worldwide, as announced by the makers.
The movie is a story about a dystopian future, the story revolves around a society oppressed by dark forces led by Kamal Haasan's character, Supreme Leader Yaskin. Prabhas takes on the role of Bhairava, a bounty hunter. Deepika Padukone's character, Sumathi (SUM-80), is the mother of an unborn child prophesied to be the 10th and final reincarnation of Lord Vishnu, destined to liberate the world. Amitabh Bachchan portrays Ashwatthama, who is dedicated to protecting Sumathi. Disha Patani plays another bounty hunter named Roxie.
