As an industry bigwig, megastar Chiranjeevi has always been at the forefront of the campaigns for small films and budding actors. As a part of it, the veteran actor made his presence felt at the pre-release event of 'First Day First Show' which was held in Hyderabad recently. Srikanth Reddy and Sanchita Bashu played the lead roles in the film.
At the event, the 'God Father' actor said, ''The content must be good.
If we can provide content that can satisfy and entertain the audience, they will definitely come to the theatres. 'Bimbisara', 'Sita Ramam' and 'Karthikeya 2' are some of the best examples. I've watched all these films which have extraordinary content and kept the audience on the edge of their seats throughout the film. We don't have to worry about the audience's presence in theatres. This is also applicable to me because I want my films to entertain the audience too. If we can't provide the films with good content, they will be rejected by the audience second day itself. I am also one of those victims.''

'First Day First Show', directed by Vamshidhar Goud and Lakshminarayana Puttamchetty, is set to debut in cinemas on September 2. Srija Edida and Sriram Edida have backed the project under the banner of Poornodaya Pictures in collaboration with Srija Entertainments and Mitravinda Movies. Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore, Srinivas Reddy, CVL Narasimha Rao, Prabhas Sreenu, Mahesh Achanta and others will be see in key roles. The technical crew comprises Radhan for music, Prasanth Ankireddy for cinematography and Gullapalli Sambasivarao for editing.
