NEW DELHI: India, USA, England, Australia, South Africa, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and the West Indies have advanced to the T20 World Cup's Super Eight stage, showcasing their talents in the competition.
Australia, aiming for a rare trifecta after their recent successes in the Test and 50-over World Cups, displayed their prowess by winning all four group matches.
They often scored high in what has been a generally low-scoring tournament. Led by Mitchell Marsh, they are a formidable team.
South Africa and India also progressed without losing a match. England, the defending champions, secured their spot in the Super Eight despite some challenges. The United States pulled off a surprise by defeating Pakistan but will face a tough Super Eight phase.
The West Indies, guided by Rovman Powell and coached by Daren Sammy, also went unbeaten in the group stage. They effectively utilised the slow pitches. Though they missed the last 50-over World Cup, their blend of youth and experience makes them a strong T20 team.
