Oracle techie who bowled USA to victory over Pakistan thanks his fans on Instagram: Here’s what he said

Saurabh Netravalkar gained fame for his exceptional bowling, limiting Pakistan to just 13 runs and achieving one of the biggest upsets in World Cup history. Social media praised the Indian-origin software for his performance. Netravalkar has now penned a note on Instagram expressing gratitude for the “love from all around the world”.

“Blessed and grateful to see the outpouring of love from all around the world.Wish I could personally thank each and every one of you!,” he wrote in his Instagram post.

“From the friends and family who've seen me grow around cricket in India to the well wishers in the United States who are learning about cricket here now. Glad to see so many of you connecting to my engineering background as well,” he further added.
Netravalkar wrote that the love means a lot to him personally and all of USA cricket. “Every member has had their own unique journey of sacrifices and ups and downs. We are cherishing the opportunity and will keep giving our best, one step at a time!”
In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Oracle said that it is proud of the US men’s cricket team and the employee.
“Congrats @USACricket on a historic result! Proud of the team and our very own engineering and cricket star @Saurabh_Netra #T20WorldCup,” Oracle said in a post on X.
Mumbai-born Netravalkar is “Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, Professional Cricketer”, as per his LinkedIn profile. Oracle said Netravalkar is one of the company’s AI engineers “and a USACricket star.”
