How to scan documents using Notes app


  • Open Notes app on your iPhone
  • Go to an existing note or create one
  • Now, tap on the camera icon at the bottom and tap on ‘Scan documents’
  • Place the document you wish to scan in front of the camera. Adjust the image size by dragging the corners
  • Choose Save


How to scan documents using Files app


  • Open Files app on your iPhone
  • Tap on the three dot icons at the top right corner of your screen
  • Here, tap on Scan Documents
  • Scan the document you wish to save/share
  • Tap on Save
