Whether you're planning a virtual game night or need a real-time brainstorming session, voice chat offers a convenient way to connect. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to get a voice chat started in your WhatsApp group:
On iPhone and Android:
1.
Open the WhatsApp group chat where you want to initiate the voice chat.
2. Tap the phone icon in the top right corner of the chat screen.
3. Select Start Voice Chat.
What happens next:
* Group members will receive a notification inviting them to join the voice chat.
* You'll see a banner at the bottom of the screen displaying who has joined the chat.
* Members can join or leave the voice chat at any time.
Additional notes:
* Voice chat is currently available for groups with 33 to 256 people.
* This feature is only available on your primary device.
* While in a voice chat, you can still send messages in the group chat.
* To leave the voice chat, simply tap the red phone icon.
