OnePlus Watch 2 with eSIM support, Snapdragon W5 chipset launched

OnePlus Watch 2 is now official. OnePlus has expanded its wearable lineup with the launch of OnePlus Watch 2 at an event in China. The OnePlus Watch 2 sports an aluminium alloy case and comes with eSIM support. The wearable features an AMOLED display and comes with fast charging support.
OnePlus Watch 2 comes in Meteorite Black and Nebula Green colour options.The OnePlus smartwatch comes with a price tag of 1799 yuan (Rs 20,650) and it will be available for purchase in the region starting July 3. The Chinese smartphone maker has not yet revealed any details about the India launch of the smartwatch.
OnePlus Watch 2 specifications
OnePlus Watch 2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. It is the first OnePlus smartwatch to come with eSIM support. This means that along with Bluetooth calling users can make calls with the help of eSIM.
The flagship OnePlus smartwatch works with both Android and iOS operating systems. The smartwatch runs ColorOS and comes with NFC support.
OnePlus Watch 2 sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466x466 pixel resolution. The circular display offers up to 600 nits of peak brightness and the aluminum alloy case adds to its looks.
OnePlus Watch 2 offers more than 100 workout modes which also include workout detection for 6 workouts. The wearable comes equipped with a heart rate sensor and SpO2 monitor. The smartwatch comes with IP68 rating which makes it resistant to dust and water.
OnePlus Watch 2 is backed by a 500 mAh battery which promises to offer 4 days of battery backup on a single charge. The smartwatch also comes with fast charging support. The company claims that the wearable can charge up to 100% in 60 minutes
