Tada court acquits Tunda in 1993 blasts case
Mar 1, 2024Syed Abdul Karim alias Tunda (81), accused in the 1993 serial train blasts, was acquitted of all charges by a Tada court in Ajmer on Thursday while stating that 'unless the offence charged is proved beyond reasonable doubt, the accused is acquitted of all charges'. The CBI will appeal against the acquittal before SC. With this verdict, Tunda has been acquitted in 28 out of 32 cases of terrorism against him throughout India. The remaining four cases are being tried in a Delhi court.
