Child artiste Tanmay Rishi to play Bubble in Nikki Aur Jadui Bubble

TV show Nikki Aur Jadui Bubble has been in the news even before it has hit the tube. As reported by us earlier, Ruslaan Mumtaz, who was originally finalised to play Shiv (Nikki’s father) in the show, was replaced by Himanshu Malhotra. The former had to bow out of the project owing to prior work commitments. While nine-year-old Maisha Dixit has been finalised to play Nikki, Tashvi Thakker will be seen in a pivotal role as well.We now hear that seven-year-old Tanmay Rishi has been roped in to play Bubble.
Tanmay, who has been a part of the long-running show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, says, “I am thrilled about joining the cast of Nikki Aur Jadui Bubble. I love watching magic and adventure films, especially Harry Potter, The Avengers, Jungle Book, and Spy Kids. So, to get an opportunity to play a character like this is amazing. Bubble is mischievous and always ends up in trouble. Like my character, I am also a little naughty in real life. It'll be fun to perform magic tricks and play pranks as Bubble.”
Another aspect that prompted the young actor to take up this show was his love for magic. Tanmay admits that he has always been mesmerised by the world of magic. “I am curious about magic and would like to learn some magic tricks. Many people tell me that I look like Harry Potter, so maybe learning magic could add to my Harry Potter look,” he signs off with an impish smile.
