Karnataka Cabinet decides to make recitation of Constitution Preamble compulsory in schools, colleges

Karnataka Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs HK Patil on June 15 informed that the Cabinet has decided to make the Preamble of the Constitution compulsory in schools and colleges. It was decided to make it mandatory to recite the preamble by the students every day in all schools, colleges, and universities of the State, along with the hymn. The crucial Cabinet meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Along with this, the Cabinet has taken 16 other decisions.
