With JDF entering a few teams into the event, JD Colleagues kitted up and took to the pitch! Our Bluewater flagship store is back bigger and better than ever!! 💙 After undergoing a huge development recently, our JD Bluewater store is open and of course we celebrated in serious style, with Under Armour's playground allowing our consumers to take on different challenges to secure Under Armour goodies and MattB Customs offering personalised designs on any footwear purchased! We spoke with Adam Sceats-Page Area Sales & Operations Manager, who said : “We are extremely proud of this refurb of the Bluewater Flagship store; this project has showcased the importance of teamwork. From Ice Cream to Innovation, join us in celebrating National Logistics Day! 📦 This week, we’re thrilled to start the celebrations for National Logistics Day with our colleagues at the Kingsway Distribution Centres! Walking towards wellbeing 🍃 To celebrate World Wellbeing Week, we invited our graduates to participate in a mindfulness walk, providing a refreshing escape from the working environment and an opportunity to practice self-care. 📈 The session, hosted by our Wellbeing Business Partner Phillip Montague, focused on cultivating a growth mindset and building resilience in the workplace. We spoke with People Team Graduate, Noble Babia, “The event allowed me to socialise and engage with the other grads within the business, some of whom I’ve never met before. I learnt the importance of prioritising your wellbeing at work and the different techniques I can use when facing challenges. Six fresh faces have joined us for a paid internship in Finance, Marketing, Digital and Buying over the summer.
