NTA postpones CSIR UGC-NET June 2024 exam due to logistic issues, revised date of exam will be annou
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the joint CSIR-UGC-NET June 2024 exam till further notice. The exam has been postponed due to some unavoidable circumstances as well as logistic issues.
 
The official notice read, “This is in continuation to the Public Notice dated 15.06.2024 vide which advance intimation of examination city allotted to the applicants of the Joint CSIR-UGCNET examination June-2024 along with schedule of examination was informed to all the candidates. The candidates are hereby informed that the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET Examination June 2024 which was scheduled to be held between June 25 to June 27, 2024, is being postponed due to unavoidable circumstances as well as logistic issues.”
 
Further, the notice read that NTA will share the revised schedule for the conduct of this examination through the official website.
Meanwhile, the candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website: csirnet.nta.ac.in. for the latest updates.
Earlier, the Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan revealed that the UGC-NET exam paper was leaked on Darknet, prompting its cancellation by the government. The Centre announced the cancellation of the UGC-NET exam claiming that the integrity of the exam has been compromised.
 
The UGC-NET was conducted on June 18, 2024, and there were social media posts soon after, alleging that the question paper had been leaked.
