It’s time to move away from the smokey eye, and have fun with colour – just the way Janhvi Kapoor does.
Start by cleansing your skin and prepping it with a lightweight moisturiser. Apply a primer, then buff your skin with a hydrating foundation using a stippling brush or a damp sponge. If you want a bit of a glowy base, add a few drops of facial oil to your foundation.
Move on to your brows, filling in bare spots with a pencil. Then, using a purple pencil, draw a line above the eye, following your crease. Apply a white eyeshadow on the lid. Make a winged line with a felt-tip eyeliner, carefully extending it out to make a dramatic wing. Apply kajal on your lower rim. If you want to intensify the purple hue, apply purple eyeshadow with a flat eyeshadow brush over the purple pencil.
Apply a few strokes of a contour stick under your cheekbones, along your jaw and, if needed, on your nose; blend well. Use a concealer if required on any spots or blemishes, and blend in.
Over line your lips with a pink lip liner, then fill in with a creamy matte pink lipstick.
Finish with a sweep of blush on the cheeks and generous coats of mascara.
