Tata Motors has introduced petrol and diesel variants of the Curvv coupe SUV, priced from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 17.70 lakh. The Curvv lineup includes four personas and six colour options, featuring advanced design and interiors. Bookings are now open, with deliveries scheduled to begin on September 12, 2024.

Tata Motors has expanded its Curvv lineup by introducing petrol and diesel variants of the newly-launched coupe SUV. Priced from Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom), the Curvv will be available in four personas: Smart, Pure, Creative, and Accomplished, spread across eight trim levels. While the starting price is set at Rs 10 lakh, the cost goes up to Rs 17.70 lakh for the top-end trim.
However, Tata Motors has not revealed the complete pricing details yet, keeping the prices for some DCT variants under wraps.
The model will be available in six colour options to choose from —Gold Essence, Pristine White, Daytona Grey, Flame Red, Pure Grey, and Opera Blue. Bookings for the Tata Curvv ICE are now open, and deliveries will begin from September 12, 2024.

Tata Curvv ICE: Design and dimensions


The Curvv ICE looks more or less similar to its electric counterpart, featuring modern design elements such as a sloping roofline, connected LED DRLs on both ends with welcome and goodbye animation. It is built on the company’s Atlas platform which can accommodate both EV and ICE versions. Other highlights include vertically stacked headlamps, a chrome-accented grille inspired by its bigger sibling, the Harrier. The model also includes flush door handles, dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, a shark fin antenna, and a sleek spoiler.
The Curvv ICE measures 4,308 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,630 mm in height, with a ground clearance of 208 mm. It offers a 500-litre boot space, which can be expanded to 973 litres by folding down the rear seats.

Tata Curvv ICE: Interior


Inside, the Curvv ICE features a dual-screen setup including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster of similar size, a four-spoke illuminated steering wheel borrowed from the Harrier and Safari. In fact, the design layout for the dashboard has been carried over from the Nexon EV.

Other highlights from the feature-list include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, touch controls for the air conditioning, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, rear AC vents, a wireless phone charger, and a six-way power-adjustable driver seat. The Curvv’s interior comes in a dual-tone burgundy and black theme, with variations depending on the chosen trim level. It also gets a segment-first powered tailgate with gesture controls. On the safety front, the Curvv ICE comes with six airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera with blind view monitoring, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, all-wheel disc brakes, and Level 2 ADAS.

Tata Curvv ICE: Engine options


The Curvv ICE is offered with three engine choices: a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that makes 120 hp and 170 Nm of torque, a 1.5-litre diesel engine generating 118 hp. Besides that, there’s also a new 1.2-litre TGDI ‘Hyperion’ petrol motor that belts out 125 hp and 225 Nm of torque. All three engines are paired with either a 6-speed MT or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT).
