Today the Collins Foods Limited Taco Bell Leadership Team spent their community day at FareShare Brisbane. We learnt a lot about food insecurity (that is significantly on the rise) in Australia, we learnt about the processes in the kitchen and we learnt about the innovative ideas that James Fien (General Manager of Operations, Head Chef and Brilliant Organiser of Many) is working on! (watch this space). We also assisted in preparing & packing high quality meals, with volunteers from the community... for just one of the three shifts of today. James and the entire team were so welcoming and knowledgeable. Their passion for helping out communities around Australia is inspiring! We were so humbled, amazed and thankful for the opportunity that we had today and are already planning our next trip back to support the local team in Brisbane. Thank you to the team at FareShare! Putting sustainability & nutrition at the forefront of everything they do. *Their nutritious meals are given away free to frontline charities such as soup vans, homeless shelters, women’s refuges, First Nations organisations and groups providing disaster relief. ~ Last week we hosted our RGM's at our 2024 Taco Bell Summit ~ A highlight of every year, bringing together our leaders from around the country. We had 3 action packed days reviewing the year that has been, launching the year to come, workshops, leadership activities and a lot of well deserved recognition. This year we had Justine Dillon from @Ngarang-Wal Gold Coast Association Incorporated to perform the Welcome to Country and the dance troupe @Kombumerri Elebana Kunjiel perform a few cultural dances, we appreciated learning the stories behind each dance and receiving the ochre. We had a lot of awards, and it was great to celebrate our Top 3 RGM's Joshua Anderson, Mitesh Joshi and Jessica Dowling (RGM of the Year) and our Top Area Coach Thomas Daft for 2024! 🥂 Congratulations 🥂 to all our winners! Celebrating International Women’s Day at Collins Foods! 💜⭐ Yesterday, four incredible leaders at Collins Foods, Helen Moore, Krystal Zugno, Karen Bale, Jodie Collie, joined our inspiring team at Collins for our International Women’s Day panel discussion on Leadership & Inclusion. Our panel members shared powerful insights on the value of inclusion, how they approach leadership, and shared practical tips in achieving success. A big thank you to our panel members for their open and honest conversations around balancing work and personal life, being a leader and how we can all be better allies. At Collins Foods we are proud to create a sense of belonging for all our employees and nurture the next generation of leaders!

Happy International Women's Day! At Collins Foods, we are proud to recognise and honour the women who make invaluable contributions to our company! In a move towards transparency and accountability, last week WGEA published data on the gender pay gap of businesses with 100 employees or more in Australia, featuring insights into the remuneration practices. The reports revealed a median total remuneration gender pay gap of 19% in Australia. Collins Foods takes great pride in its progress towards gender pay equality. Collins Foods has achieved a median base pay gender gap of 0%, and a total remuneration gender pay gap of -1.4%, showcasing our commitment to gender pay equality. Collins Foods emerges as just one of 16 companies in the ASX200 index achieving a median gender pay gap of less than 5% in favour of either men or women. And takes the lead within the QSR industry with -1.4% median gender pay gap for total remuneration. At Collins Foods, our focus is on ensuring people are paid fairly and equitably. We have a strong commitment to gender-neutral remuneration and benefits practices. With employees coming together from a broad range of backgrounds, we aim to promote career development and create a sense of belonging for all of our employees.

What a night! On Sunday, we hosted our annual Collins Way Awards night in Brisbane recognising the outstanding achievements of our finalists from our Support Centre and Restaurants across the country! ⭐ We are still buzzing from a night filled with entertainment and lots of fun! 🎉🎶 Our Collins Way Awards is one of the most exciting nights of the year as we recognise our amazing people across KFC, Taco Bell, Operations Leadership and Restaurant Support Centre for delivering remarkable contributions whilst living our Values every single day! We look back at a very successful Collins Foods Europe convention 2024! Recently the CFE Restaurant Support Centre teams from both the Netherlands and Germany kicked off the new year with our annual convention in Maastricht. We reflected on the achievements of 2023 and spent time sharing our goals for 2024 as well as taking the opportunity to celebrate our colleagues. This year our management team opted for a visual presentation sharing key messages in pictures which was supported by Ferry Tekent | De Tekenende Accountant . This was followed with a Visual Thinking workshop by Ferry Tekent for all our team. The workshop provided a new perspective on presenting information and allows us to support our work in a more creative way in the future. Thank you Ferry for this great workshop! After a cave tour, the evening was reserved for our Award Show dinner at the great venue Rebelle. Sevda Guzel was recognized as our Collins Way Award winner for 2023, being a fitting recognition for her dedication over the past year. Other winners include: Tim van Dorst (Positive Impact Award), Gabriella Ipek (Customer Driven Award), Wessley Berbers (Innovation Mindset Award), Joey Fiege (Operational Excellence Award), Livia Ghita (Ownership Award), and Fabiola Kooreman (People at the Heart Award). Again congratulations to all!! The evening ended with a party, where DJ Dieter Valpoort, also a colleague, provided the musical entertainment. In short, a successful gathering that we look back on with satisfaction. We can't wait for the next event!

What a way to kick start the week! On Monday, we hosted our very first Welcome Day for all our new joiners at Collins Foods and newly promoted Restaurant General Managers! Such a fun day with incredible people joining our team and starting their career at Collins. Welcome! 👏💛
