Angie Philips (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Nebraska. She lost in the Democratic primary on May 12, 2020.
Biography
Philips works as a community organizer.[1] According to her campaign website, Philips founded the Douglas County Democratic Party Women’s Caucus and the Nebraska Progressive Legislative Study Group, "a grassroots group which aims to educate Nebraskans about the Unicameral and push for progressive legislation and progressive representation."[2] Philips' professional experience includes working in family case management.[3]
