Eugene Young
Eugene Young (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Delaware's At-Large Congressional District. He did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on September 10, 2024.
Biography
Young earned degrees in information systems and sociology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He earned a master's in public administration from Wilmington University and studied nonprofit management at the University of Delaware.
Young is the co-founder of Network Delaware. He was appointed director of the Delaware State Housing Authority in 2021. He also served as the president and CEO of the Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League. He has worked as an aide in the Delaware General Assembly and to Sen. Cory Booker (D).[1]
