Jill York (Republican Party) was a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 96. York assumed office in 2009. York left office on December 31, 2018.
York (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives to represent District 96. York lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Biography
When she served in the state House, York's professional experience included working as an operator of Printworks Unlimited. York was an assistant adviser to the Carter County Fair Board and a member of the Grayson Area Chamber of Commerce.[1]

Elections for the Kentucky House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Barry Webb ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Jill York ran unopposed in the Republican primary. York defeated Webb in the general election.[6][7][8]

York's opponent in the November 2 general election was Democratic candidate David Hayes. According to official results, York defeated Hayes by a margin of 6,954 to 4,994.[11]

In the May 18th primary election, York defeated Republican primary opponent Vernon Messer by a margin of 3,448 to 1,738.
