I am a Board Certified Family Law Specialist- a distinction earned by a small percentage of attorneys. A California Civil Procedure Law Professor. Recognized as a “Best Lawyer” and “Super Lawyer.” Endorsed by Superior Court Judges, legal practitioners, professional and social non-profit organizations including the Family Law Bar Association.

I have been a litigator for 15 years dedicated to guiding people through difficult times within a daunting system, protecting their important assets and loved ones. I represent domestic violence and child abuse victims. I seek equity and justice for families. More people contact the justice system through family court than any other area. Family Law touches every aspect of peoples’ lives. Due to cross-over with other practice areas, my experience includes aspects of criminal, civil, and other areas of law. Our judiciary has few judges who practiced Family Law, though are regularly assigned to family court. I am the only candidate with this direly needed experience.

“America’s Finest City” deserves America’s finest judges dedicated to protecting families, ensuring public safety, and fortifying community resources. Committed to fairness, impartiality, access to justice, equality, legal precedent. and upholding rights for all.

  • Enhancing Judicial Education and Cultural Competency: I will advocate for ongoing judicial education in family law, ensuring judges understand the evolving needs of families and possess the cultural competency to serve all communities fairly.

I am a non-partisan judicial candidate and our ethics requires neutrality. However, I believe my message and endorsements highlight my passions.

I was a secretary at a secretarial pool. I held the job for several years.

The community may not be aware of the impact that family law has on people, the amount that it crosses over with other areas of law, the length of time that family law cases go, and the need for consistency and dedication in family law.

Yes, I believe it is extremely important- especially in Family Law.

Not at this time. This is still pending for candidates. However, I am endorsed by the San Diego Family Law Bar Association

I want to bring my experience and expertise in Family Law to the San Diego bench so that I can use my experience and education to serve San Diego's families and children.

There is a distinct need for judges who are educated and experienced in family law.
